4 Materials and methods

Median cell state marker signals per cluster are used to cluster_marker for differential states (DS) within populations.

Cell type refers to relatively stable or permanent features of a cell’s identity, while cell state refers to transient features such as signaling or other functional states or the cell cycle.

The following report provides a turnkey analysis using the diffcyt3 package, differential state tests will be calculated using limma (testDS_limma) and we will use LMM when comp decides to work properly.
